ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule:

PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) has announced the proposed schedule for the Champions Trophy. The tournament will likely start from February 19 to March 9, 2025. Below is the proposed schedule suggested by PCB to the ICC (International Cricket Council):

February 19: New Zealand vs Pakistan Venue:  National Stadium Karachi

February 20: Bangladesh vs TBC Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

February 21: Afghanistan vs South Africa Venue:  National Stadium Karachi

February 22: Australia vs England Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

February 23: New Zealand vs TBC Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

February 24: Pakistan vs Bangladesh Venue: Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

February 25: Afghanistan vs England Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

February 26:  Australia vs South Africa Venue: Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

February 27: Bangladesh vs New Zealand Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

February 28: Afghanistan vs Australia Venue: Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

March 1: Pakistan vs  TBC Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

March 2: South Africa vs England Venue:  Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

March 5: Semi-final: TBC vs TBC Venue:  National Stadium Karachi

March 6: Semi-final: TBC vs TBC Venue: Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium

March 9: Final: TBC vs TBC  Venue: Gaddafi Stadium Lahore

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Teams:

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will feature a total of 8 teams competing in the ODI format. Here's the updated list of qualified teams:. The teams are divided into two groups:

Group 1: Pakistan, India, New Zealand and Bangladesh

Group 2: England, Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan

Note: If India pulls out of the event, Sri Lanka automatically qualifies for the event according to rankings. India has not yet confirmed its participation in the Champions Trophy, suggesting ICC shift the entire tournament to Sri Lanka or UAE. Pakistan will not agree to do it as last year, the 2023 Asia Cup was also played with a Hybrid model as Sri Lanka hosted Indian Team matches. Still no confirmed News about India's participation.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Pakistan Venues:

• Gaddafi Stadium Lahore
• Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium
• National Stadium Karachi

Gaddafi Stadium Lahore: It has a seating capacity of almost 27,000 cricket fans with a clear view from each closure. It is located in Panjab Province, Lahore district. The latest update about the stadium is that its reconstruction began some weeks ago to enhance its beauty and fans' comfort for the Champions Trophy.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium: The stadium has a seating capacity of 15,000 for spectators to enjoy the game. it is located in Panjab Province, Rawalpindi district, and Rawalpindi city is the third-largest city of Pakistan by population.

National Stadium Karachi: It has a seating capacity of almost 34,238 for spectators. located in Sindh province, Karachi City.
